Written by Off The Wire on Monday, 06 June 2011 Algoma University and head mens basketball coach Thomas Cory are pleased to announce that Keith Golding of Notre Dame Secondary School in Burlington will be joining the Mens basketball program in 2011-12. The 66 215lb forward had a very good high school career averaging 14 points, 12 rebounds, 1 block in his senior year and was also named tournament All-star at the prestigious Fred Scione Tournament. We think Keith has an excellent future at this level. He has had strong coaching at Notre Dame Secondary school in Burlington . said Coach Cory of his latest addition. He is a solid student athlete who will be enrolled in the business program and can rebound and play both forward positions , his game allows him to go inside and outside which will give us another talent forward . Keith is excited to get an opportunity to play with the Thunderbirds in the OCAAI'm very happy to be given the opportunity to play basketball at Algoma University . It has become a top notch program and not only will I be able to play and contribute in my first year, I know my game will continue to improve over the next four years."
