ABA-Canada Basketball League Internship Opportunities (Summer) E-mail

ABA-Canada, a division of the American Basketball Association www.abalive.com, is looking to fill several intern positions to assist in the coordination and preparation for the upcoming 2011-2012 season. Interns will also have the opportunity to work with the team during the off season to help the organization become an integral part of Canada’s basketball community. A passion for sports and entertainment will complement your ability to work in a fast paced, project based environment with the potential for advancement for those who show initiative.

These positions are not paid salary or hourly and are part-time. However, interns who are chosen to work with ABA-Canada will have the opportunity to earn money through various marketing and/or sponsorship related avenues as the season progresses. The selected individuals will gain a wealth of experience as they help the organization in all aspects of achieving our goal of becoming Canada’s TRUE Domestic Basketball League.
Qualified candidates will have an opportunity to work in the fields of:

Ticket Sales
Web Design
Sponsorship
Operations
Event Management
Administration
Fundraising
PR and Media Relations
Human Resources
