Thoroughly enjoyed the games last year. It is a great way to showcase the top talent in all the public schools.
The city all star game vs Catholic/Halton/Brant just don't do the boys any justice as there are too many Public teams with deserving players and not enough spots for all of them.

Kudos to Dwayne Washington and company for making this happen.

Whatever you do don't have a drink before or during the game. The past 2 years MacNabs washroom facilities during the game has been absolutely horrible. Right up there with Hill Parks change room

Should be very interesting as all teams have lots of talent. All-star games are hard enough to manage PT for everyone though so I have to wonder why both Hamilton teams bring so many players. I know you want to showcase guys, but how much can they do when there are not enough minutes to go around. I'd suggest limiting rosters to 12 but it's not a big deal. I just hate to see some kids disappointed with their minutes, as that's when you get people crying favoritism or whatever.

Re:East /West Public Jr. and Sr. All-Star Games 5 Months, 1 Week ago
Hamilton Public had their own all star game to select players. So, their final roster has been cut down from the 24 guys who played last week.
Hamilton Catholic has a formula they use every year - Champs get 4 players, finalists get 3, semi finalists get 2 each, everyone else gets one player. That way every school is represented. makes it easier for deciding who is on the team. As for the issue of playing time, that is the problem for the coach. Not sure about Public team, but Hamilton catholic has the City Champ team coach All Star team. makes it pretty simple to decide who does what, IMO.
